Getting there


The Langham is conveniently located on Southbank along the Yarra River, within easy reach of central Melbourne. Here are some travel tips:

From Melbourne Airport (Tullamarine)

Taxi or Uber (This is the easiest and most direct option, particularly if you have luggage).

  • Travel time: approximately 20–30 minutes, depending on traffic
  • Estimated cost: AUD $60–$75
  • Taxi ranks and rideshare pick-up zones are clearly signposted outside all terminals


SkyBus + short Taxi/Uber

  • Take the SkyBus from the airport to Southern Cross Station (runs every 10 minutes, 24/7)
  • From Southern Cross Station, take a short taxi or Uber (5–10 minutes), or enjoy a 20-minute walk along the river
  • Estimated total cost: AUD $25–$40

From Melbourne CBD - If you are already in the city:

  • Taxi/Uber: 5–10 minutes (approx. AUD $10–$20)
  • Walking: Around 10 minutes from Flinders Street Station via Princes Bridge
  • Tram: Free within the CBD zone. Take any tram along St Kilda Road (routes 1, 3, 5, 6, 16, 64, 67 or 72) and get off at Arts Precinct (Stop 14), then it's just a 5-minute walk across Princes Bridge.
